Community Technology Update (CTU) 2008 is the second technology update for 2008, jointly brought to you by the local User Groups. We endeavour to bring you the newest technologies, keeping you abreast of whats happening now and how you can take advantage of it.
For the first time, we are opening Microsoft Innovation Centre for you to see what goes on in there. Be sure to take a look at the MIC Tour. There is a max that number of pax that room can take. You can walk in anytime.
*Topics and timings subjected to changes, but we'll keep it to a minimum. CTU Event FAQs (More to come as more questions reach me)
Apologies: DMCC has been removed due to logistics problem. The DM expert is currently in China. We will have to delay this session to a later date. However, we will announce it to everyone. Sorry for any inconveniences caused.
Community Clinic
Community Clinique will be located outside Level 21 Auditorium. Each attendee can take up an MVP time of max. 30 mins.
It will be based on a first come first serve basis.
The following MVPs are available: 1. Dennis Chung, Windows Server: Setup & Deployment MVP 2. Alvin Lau, ASP.NET MVP 3. Loke Kit Kai, Sharepoint MVP 4. Eugene Tan, SBS Server MVP 5. Pom Figueroa, SQL Server MVP
As this is a community event, there will be a few other MVPs who will be there. Just pop by and ask any questions. We'll see if a relevant MVP is there to help you.
What sort of questions can you NOT ask? 1. You cannot ask the MVPs to troubleshoot problem for you (Its time consuming, do it in the forums). But you can ask for tips on where to troubleshoot. Remember, 30 mins is all you got. 2. You cannot ask the MVPs to do a free service. You can bring questions and get tips on how to do things, but not ask the MVPs to do it. We will guide you, but not do it for you. 3. You cannot ask MVPs to commit on behalf of Microsoft for anything that is contract binding. MVPs cannot commit for Microsoft, we don't work for Microsoft.
{Insiders} TSP @ Community Clinic
{Insiders} TSP provides the individuals with access to bits and support from Microsoft. To learn about {Insiders} TSP, click here. If you are keen to enrol into {Insiders} TSP or have any questions, please pop by to meet Dennis for a discussion.
