A SharePoint Feature is an component that plugs into SharePoint offering some enhancement. Not only are Features built in, they're also a fantastic way to flexibly customise SharePoint. In this level 200 session, we'll introduce the basics of features, how they work, and see many examples of how you can enhance SharePoint using them. Demos include changing SharePoint's ribbon, deploying web parts, and inserting new web controls into your web pages.
