TitleHTML 5, CSS3 and ASP.NET Best Practices by Example
Synopsis

There has been a lot of hype of how HTML 5 and CSS 3 will revolutionize the way we develop and experience the world-wide-web. HTML5 is a much richer markup language that moves to browsers, the burden of implementing a lot of common features that developers coded for years, on their own.
In this new paradigm where standards are still in development, and support from browsers varies, developers will face dilemmas including; which features to code, and which to adopt from the new standard.
We will discuss in this session; patterns and practices to help web developers take advantage of the latest web standards (HTML5, CSS3 and ECMAScript 5) and other modern web technologies such as jQuery and ASP.NET MVC 3 to develop next generation web applications. In addition, Darren will also share how he has implemented some of these recommendations to real-life projects that he has been involved in.
