Wee Hyong/Alvin Lau
This session provides a concise primer on data mining and how it can be used to analyze the data, and discover insights from the huge nuggets of data that are hidden in the databases within  organizations.  The session will provide a comprehensive overview of all the data mining algorithms in Microsoft  SQL Server 2008, and discuss scenarios in which each of the algorithms can be used.  Next, developers will learn how they can  build data mining models using SQL Server 2008, and how these models can be incorporated into applications -> transforming them into intelligent applications!
